No one is perfect. Every person on this earth has had moments of emotional distress. Just the other day, I had a moment where I felt as though I was inadequate. I felt like I was failing and that nothing I was doing was good enough. I cried. My son wanted a book read to him, and I could barely get through the book without bursting into tears. I had to take a moment to let all of my tears out. After crying my eyes out, I spoke a quick prayer and recited my favorite Bible verse out loud (Philippians 4:13). Moments later, I picked myself up off of the bedroom floor and walked confidently back to the living room, knowing that I may not be perfect, but I am striving every day.
With everything going on in this world today, It’s easy to become discouraged, depressed, and anxious. I’ve compiled a list of Bible verses that are going to help you through whatever you may be going through in this current moment.
I wrote a blog post a while back titled, “But, There Is Hope” (if you have not read it, check it out). I got very personal in that post concerning my struggles with depression and my attempt to end my life. I felt the need to share my story because I know that there are many people out there struggling with depression and anxiety that feel as though they are alone. Trust me; you are not.
If you need someone to talk to, I am more than willing to be there for you. Just send me an email to email@example.com.
