Journey to Fit (Ep.4): Consistency is Key!

Welcome to episode four of the series “Journey to Fit“! This series documents my journey to becoming fit and learning to live healthier. I give you weekly updates on how my fitness journey is going and provide advice that I’ve learned on how to get fit and stay fit.

Busy Week, But Progress Was Made!

Week 2 of our August Fitness Challenge! This challenge was tough, but by the end of the week, I felt stronger.

Consistency is Key!

This week has been incredible regarding spending time with some friends and getting to know some new people. Every day was filled with meeting with chill folks and sharing laughs and wisdom.

On top of socializing, I’ve been consistent with my workouts! It feels incredible to be back in a routine of taking better care of myself. I cannot begin to explain how much better I feel.

This week’s workout challenge was a sweaty one. The most challenging exercise for me was the burpees. I’ve concluded that burpees will probably never be an exercise that I will love to do, and that’s okay!

Overall, this was a successful week for exercising and being social. I plan to rest to the best of my ability and prepare for the new week ahead.

  1. Congratulations on your achieving your goals for the week. I started to walk and jog a few times a week but I stopped. I need to get back to it because it helped me to feel better (having more energy, boosting my mood, etc.). It’s also nice to feel the burn (that let’s you know it’s working!).
